Dr. Rachel Reedy, DVM
Growing up in a small town in Southern Idaho, Dr. Rachel Reedy dreamed of a life in animal medicine. After obtaining her Bachelors of Science degree from Washington State University, she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University of School of Veterinary Medicine. In 2012, Dr. Reedy moved to the Coachella Valley, where she has made an impact on animal welfare throughout the valley.
After obtaining her DVM, Dr. Reedy completed a rigorous Equine surgical and medicine internship at Sheridan Equine in Sheridan, Wyoming. Once her internship was completed, she went into mixed animal practice working on small animals and horses.
Dr. Reedy continues to work on horses, dogs, and cats, enjoying a practice where she can work with both large and small animals. Dr. Reedy offers a well-rounded background in most aspects of veterinary medicine and has a strong interest and advanced skillset in soft tissue surgery. Dr. Reedy is the proud owner of Ridgeline Veterinary Clinic.
Rachel shares her small farm - full of horses, dogs and cats, with her husband, Keith, They are both Boston terries fanatics, and you will often find Dr. Reedy's beloved "Spud" at work with her. In her spare time, you'll find Dr. Reedy riding her horse and competing in reined Cow Horse competitions. When she's not on her horse (or treating one!), she'll be visiting her family and friends or enjoying the great outdoors.

Dr. Sylvia Dixon, DVM
Dr. Dixon graduated from the University of Sydney with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and made the exciting move to Southern California in July 2024 to continue her career in small animal practice. Her clinical interests include soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and veterinary dermatology.
She also has a strong passion for animal welfare and has published research in the field. She continues to advocate for the ethical treatment of all animals in veterinary care. She enjoys working closely with pet owners to provide thoughtful, evidence-based medicine that supports pets’ health.
Outside of work, Dr. Dixon enjoys hiking, traveling with her partner, and trying new local restaurants. She shares her home with two young cats, Roo and Pika, who made the big move with her from Australia.

Dr. Michael Fenn, DVM
Dr. Fenn comes to us from Minneapolis, MN. He has always had a passion for animals and loves collecting unique pets. To date, his favorites have been his chameleon, Herb, and his three Jellyfish. He pursued his undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin, earning a degree that laid the foundation for his future in veterinary medicine. He then achieved his doctorate in veterinary medicine from the University of Minnesota.
In 2022, Dr. Fenn relocated to the Coachella Valley with his partner and their two dogs. Miles and Riggs. Since then, he has provided exceptional care to pets in the community. Outside of work, Dr. Fenn is an avid supporter of the Coachella Valley Firebirds. He enjoys playing pickleball, exploring new restaurants, and traveling whenever possible. His diverse interests and commitment to animal welfare make him a valued member of our team.

Dr. Leigh Kirk, DVM
Dr. Leigh Kirk has loved cats since she was a toddler and had wanted to become a veterinarian for almost as long. But life took her on an adventure through business: entrepreneurship, sales, and marketing, and a decade of rescuing cats, until, David, her husband, finally convinced her to peruse her dream.
In 2022, Leigh graduated with her DVM from Colorado State University, to complement her BA from The George Washington University and MS in Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport.
Leigh and her husband share their home with seven feline family members, where they are treated as the gods that the ancient Egyptian’s originally recognized. Leigh has yet to meet a cat who does not deserve this distinction.

Dr. Peter Eddy, DVM
Dr. Peter Eddy grew up raising and caring for animals of all kinds, in central Massachusetts. He received a Bachelors of Science in Biology from Trinity college, then attended prestigious Tufts University where he attained his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine.
After graduating from vet school, Dr. Eddy was employed as an associate veterinarian at several small animal hospitals in the Boston area. Eventually he moved to California, and joined the first multi-doctor veterinary practice in San Francisco. Dr. Eddy and his husband moved to Long Beach, where owned and operated a very successful mobile medical/surgical/dental veterinary business serving the Long Beach and Orange County area.
Since Dr. Eddy and his husband Doyle moved to the Coachella Valley, he has practiced at several local hospitals and is currently happily practicing with Ridgeline Veterinary Clinic. He and Doyle enjoy traveling in their RV during the summer months, which includes their lovable desert adoptee pets Stella (chihuahua), and Karen (orange tabby cat).
When not traveling or working, you’ll find Peter playing competitive bridge, ping pong, or hiking.
Many clinics have loved having Dr. Eddy be apart of their team, and we are grateful to have him here with us (while he’s not enjoying the summer months traveling) at Ridgeline. He brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and great friendship to our practice.
